I know what side I'm on. Here is a wonderful essay by Steven Green. Although I like Alito, mostly, I think he's spot on in his critic of "Soft-Facism." We need to be careful our beaurocracy doesn't come to control too much of our actions. Some departments could already use some careful scrutiny. I vote we start with the EPA and OSHA. I don't disagree with the reasons for these groups, merely the way they cary out their responsibilities.
It's wierd that I totaly distrust beaurocracy, yet I want to grow up to be (essentialy) a beaurocrat. Wierd. I hope it's just a burning desire to fix the system from the inside.
